Divine Chocolate visits Americus! Pictured at the Cafe Campesino roastery are from left to right Nema Etheridge, Bill Harris, Mark Magers, CEO of Divine Chocolate USA, Christiana Ohene Agyare, president of the Kuapa Kokoo Farmers Union in Ghana, Kwasi Aduse-Poku, managing director of Kuapa Kokoo Ltd., Niki Lagos with Divine and Tripp Pomeroy.

Cafe Campesino was busy on Sunday, welcoming Christiana Ohene Agyare, the first female president of Kuapa Kokoo- the cocoa-farming cooperative in Ghana that owns Divine Chocolate– as well as the rest of the Divine Chocolate gang in Americus.  We first visited Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains to hear Pres. Carter give a Sunday School lesson, then we hosted a chocolate tasting at our coffeehouse in Americus.  After the chocolate tasting, Bill joined the Divine group at Koinonia where they learned about the history of the farm and enjoyed dinner.  We are very happy to have hosted the group, and now need to figure out how to keep those chocolate bars in-stock.  Americus loves them!
