We’ve kicked off 2007 in true Fair Trade form… with an unforgettable visit to our dynamo producer partners CAC Pangoa in Peru, the addition of a new trading partner and their coffee to our Fair Trade family, and a line-up of events over the next few months that is sure to keep us movin’ and groovin’. In this issue, we’re delighted to introduce you to our newest trading partners, the Federation of Exporting Coffee Producers (FECAFEB) of the Caranavi region in Bolivia along with their sweet, bright, smooth-bodied premium coffee. FYI… this month’s Fair Grounds special? You guessed it… our new Bolivia Dark Roast. Also this month, you’ll find a Community Caravan update and a Valentine’s Day coffee recipe. So, sit back, bundle up, pour yourself a hot cup-o-Café Campesino java, and read on about the great things that are happening at Café Campesino and the world of Fair Trade!
