Mint Mocha Frappe

This refreshing treat is guaranteed to put you in the summer mood! It’s a delightful mixture of mint, chocolate, and espresso. Mix one up and get energized for fun in the sun.

1 cup of ice
2 scoops of mint chocolate chip ice cream
4 oz cold brew espresso (see below)
2 oz milk
2 oz chocolate syrup (more if you like!)
Whipped cream

Combine ice, ice cream, espresso, milk, and chocolate syrup in a blender.

Blend for one minute

Pour into glass and top with whipped cream.

*Prepare your cold brew by mixing a 1/2 gallon of water with a 1/2 pound of coarse ground coffee in a gallon size container. Allow to sit at room temperature for eight to ten hours. (At the cafe we allow our cold brew to sit overnight). After the coffee has been allowed to sit, pour the mixture through a tight-meshed strainer. This will separate the coffee grounds from the espresso. Pour your cold brewed coffee into a container of your choice and refrigerate. This recipe yields 8 cups. To make a larger batch, simply double the size of the recipe.
