Wednesday Word: “Bean Probe”

I was recently  reading  Roast Magazine and learned that they posted a dictionary of coffee roasting vocabulary online.  So, I thought it might be fun to share one word a week with readers.  And since there’s a little alliteration between “Wednesday” and “word,” I’m hereby declaring Wednesday our “Word Day”.  We can call it something like, “Woaster Word Wednesday”  (insert “w’s” where needed for desired alliteration).  So… here’s our first word  (just picking blindly… ):

Bean Probe any measuring probe positioned on a roaster to enable the operator to read the external bean temperature.”

I have no intention (yet) to add any thoughts or reflections on these words.  Just looking to share them.  Anyone who has experience with these words (as they are defined here) is welcome to comment.
